We live and work in the Silicon Valley. The Bay Area in Northern California, USA is a beautiful place to live, but the cost of living is the pits! We currently reside in a cottage, but dream owning of a home of our own.
Where we work
Johnathon and I work for major software companies. It's a very exciting industry, and we tend to work long hours. That is why we treasure our free time, and try to make the most of it.
What we do in our free time
We enjoy traveling to visit family and friends. Our travels have also taken us to England, Scotland, France, Switzerland, Germany, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. Ask Johnathon about his trip to Italy, and his visits to Japan
We also love baseball. We were season ticket holders until the San Francisco Giants built a new stadium (Pac Bell Park) and only sold full-season ticket packages (bah humbug!). We attended the last game at Candlestick Park with our favorite group of fans.
Tonya enjoys gardening and sewing quilts. For pictures of some of her recent quilt projects, link here. Ask her about her new Pfaff sewing machine!
Johnathon reads many novels and has been known to play computer games occasionally. We like to watch movies and spend time with friends.
We recently bought a '99 Mazda Miata. It is absolutely the most fun you can have in the sun and on curvy roads! If you haven't yet had a chance to ride in or drive a convertible, it is a totally addicting experience, and one we highly recommend!
